Todd has 12 years of professional experience in all aspects of multifamily and commercial real estate operations, financing, acquisitions and development. In addition to large scale project management and asset management oversight of multifamily, commercial, and retail assets, he has successfully secured over $750 million in real estate financing and has underwritten and lead or participated in the financial and physical due diligence for over $550 million in multifamily and commercial acquisitions for both private and institutional investors. With his well-rounded experience, spanning across nine states, Todd is able to effectively and efficiently work with owners and investors to responsibly manage, and add value to, both large and small portfolios of real estate assets.
Prior to leading Essential, Todd was an accomplished CFO/COO with solid experience working for large real estate companies including, Bedrock Real Estate Services and Village Green Holding. Todd’s career began in auditing services for Deloitte & Touche.
Minna brings to Essential her 11 years of experience in Client Relations for both Multifamily and Corporate Housing. Her role is to ensure that Essential Property Management provides extraordinary experiences to residents, clients, partners and employees. With a thorough understanding of the Michigan Real Estate Market, she is able to guide and support the company in the planning, development, and coordination efforts of all new management opportunities, acquisitions, ground-up developments, and historic rehabs. Additional responsibilities include identifying and building strong and lasting relationships with clients and investors, no matter how big or small.
Minna is an active member in both the local and national chapters of Urban Land Institute, Bisnow, Multi-Family Executive, and the DMAA.
A successful Vice President, Regional Manager, and Property Manager, Brian comes to Essential with more than 13 years of multifamily operations experience. He has participated in the management of a number multifamily portfolios consisting of extensive, hands on oversight of large value-add projects, property lease-ups, and ongoing operations of large and small stabilized assets. Brian has overseen hundreds of employees, and thousands of units throughout Maryland, Michigan, and Pennsylvania.
In addition to his operational expertise, Brian is skilled in financial underwriting, development and product strategy, and repositioning initiatives for both urban and suburban communities.
Jeff has been in the residential property management industry for over 11 years. He has held roles in many aspects of financial services, starting as a property accountant for a Real Estate Investment Trust and working up to overseeing a property accounting team for one of the top 100 largest property owner/operators in the United States. He has managed financial portfolios in 16 states in the Midwest, Southeast and East Coast.
Prior to property management, Jeff has had experience in both the manufacturing and banking industries. He holds both an MBA and a Master of Accountancy.
At Essential, Aaron develops, trains, and leads the property management teams to achieve best-in-class customer service. Aaron has been in the multifamily industry for over 8 years and has been involved in both commercial and multifamily property and asset management. He has successfully repositioned troubled assets, and led rehabilitation projects for multiple communities throughout the Midwest.
Aaron serves on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Metropolitan Apartment Association and is very involved with the local association. Aaron is an effective, results-oriented leader with a proven track record of developing successful teams and exceeding expectations.
